:- 5.0 out of 5 stars from Happy in AZ -- Heartwarming : This is a heartwarming story. Was surprised by Alex’s background & ‘mistake’. Made me feel sad but was rooting for HEA. Loved that the author didn’t unnecessarily break up the MC’s due to angst, but showed what true love can overcome in certain situations. Also loved the fact that almost all the characters are ages 40 & 50+ in this book; in all other stories, they are in their 20’s, so big kudos for that! - 5.0 out of 5 stars from The old one! -- Great Story : Loved both Riley and Alex. They had an instant attraction. Due to circumstances and mishaps they were kind of thrown together for a night and what a night it was! Very tender love story, well told and characters seemed so real. I was mesmerized by their mutual attraction. Not too much drama but a lot of love between women nearing 50. Alex's story was told with care and compassion. I can surely see where some laws need to changed. The story just proves how important the truth is and how love can overcome or accept just about anything. Alex and Riley find the missing piece of their lives and revel in it. Of course there are obstacles (even unjust ones) and pitfalls ... that’s life. But their love and commitment to each other was strong and solid. Another great read. I heartily and enthusiastically recommend this and all of Ms. Moody’s works.
